R.O.B.

Real fanboys know that a product doesn't necessarily have to be good simply to have nostalgic value. Such is the case with Nintendo's Robotic Operating Buddy (R.O.B.), an obscure robotic peripheral released for the NES in 1985. Supporting only two games and being generally a niche item, few people probably actually owned one of these when it hit the market. Since then R.O.B. has become the stuff of legends. Making a recent reappearance in the Wii's Super Smash Bros. Brawl, our old pal is once again making the rounds. Even if you never played the supported games (Gyromite and Stack-Up), this is the kind of thing that you'd want to proudly display in a prominent location in your collection.
