Now, like most of you, I don't ever read or respond to these things but I just had to for some reason. First off, yeah it sounds like you have no life if you meet a girl from an online game, and to be honest I don't know if I ever would, but you guys are just even more ignorant for putting them down than for finding a girl that way. It is an area of our lives that in modern society is very big, and no longer a niche for certain types of people. Pretty much everyone plays video games and if on occasion it facilitates for the meeting of two people to fall in love or what not, then who are we to put them down. He who has never sinned can throw the first rock, or however it goes. I am a guy who plays video games regularly. I also graduated college with 3 degrees, was in a fraternity, played sports in high school,has an active social life, considered attractive, and is now studying to be a doctor. If for some reason I found a girl on here does that automatically mean I have no life? or rather does it means I used a different venue than the norm. If I had a girlfriend that enjoyed playing games as much as me then I feel it would contribute a lot to the relationship. If I found a girl who is as good and competitive at call of duty 4 then that would be awesome, or is they are just an avid gamer that would take a lot of stress out of the relationship (maybe) from her yelling at me to get off them haha. I guess what I'm saying is don't judge people when they find happiness in unusual places. Who are you to say they are wrong. And it seems that most people who put them down are people who haven't or can't find someone of their own; and according to that logic since you can't find anyone in your "normal" and non "loser" life but yet, these "losers" can find someone through a video game, are you not an even a bigger loser now? This article was pretty funny and I enjoyed reading it, but liked reading the comments even more. My boyfriend and I met on WoW. He's a ****y ass gamer... but truthfully there isn't a single gamer that can't (and won't) be ****y from time to time. Generally, the only complaint I have is how serious he is when he plays certian games and how he will yell if things go bad. Other than that, he's amazing and I LOVE having a guy that games with me. =)

My bf and I met on WoW ^-^ After a few months of chatting, we decided to meet and completely fell in love with each other. We found that neither one of us had lives aside from life in WoW, so we basically became best friends. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. He does the complete opposite of all these things. Except maybe he'll duel me and brag when he wins, but he'll let me win the next 100 duels just for that.

umm yeah i've been a srs wow nerd for almost 3 years, and i know QUITE a few guys that do at least 1/2 these things, but i honestly find it pretty comical maybe im just the odd one of the bunch but i srsly dont see the big deal now if they did some of this stuff irl then yeah i would prolly get pissy but it's just a game imo have fun =P

yea my girlfriend is a hot gamer, they exist, we watch anime together too, both have lives, she's a software engineer, and i'm iinto the whole bundle package, programming networking web design comp applications the whole 9 yards, computer junkie for years, how i am, but i toly liek pwn her up lolz, i tear her ass at CoD4 and i still get "mine" lol, yet to get beat by a girly, but good gaming girls ( mushamakoto ) maybe one day you'll ream me,but not today, and i def don't do the mmo thing, pro gaming for life =P it's like 5 am and i'm still awake, ignore the spelling errors lol

In all honesty, yes, this article is bull****..but for COMPLETELY different reasons, ctyln. Who says a girl NEEDS you to let her win? I might just kick your ass WITHOUT help. And yes, I am an attractive girl who games. Who says I have no life? I go to college just like everyone else, thanks.

honestly .. i played wow for 4yrs. I'm a guy, and i am one sexy S.O.B. i quit now. It is a better life out there.. but what i wouldn't give to play wow again.. You just cant play this game and not play everyday for 5hrs.. or else your a newb. No one likes a nub. so after 4yrs of playing 5hr+ per day.. I quit. Wow has pretty girls. But RL has more!!! .. being a lock isnt worth the Women outside of wow!
