A simple blueprint for success
There's no denying the numbers. Despite impressive holiday sales from Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo's Wii won 2008 sales and continues to outsell the competition. Now that 2008 is behind us, 2009 holds endless possibilities. If Nintendo wants to win again there are several things it must do. Here's our suggestions for how to make 2009 a smashing success.

I laughed when I saw the bit about Pokemon. I was talking to my friend the other day and we were complaining about how lame Coliseum was and how badly I wished they would come out with a console game that was more in keeping with the portable ones. They did a good job with the battling in Pokemon Coliseum. All they need to do is tag it with the usual gameplay from any of the original Pokemon games and they could make serious bank. I'd rather that then yet another portable version.
Yes nintendo keep being original! With the SAME CHARACTERS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS why do we allow these crooks to stay in business all they do is make stuff shinier, no new gameplay features that are not gimmicks, the controller is a complete failure because it does not allow for the same type of control a pair of joysticks can give

I've heard alot of debate about this latest console war, and I've heard and read ALOT of talk of bits, bytes, processors, gigabytes and so on and so on. It all sounds intelligent, if not sometimes confusing. But I've got just one phrase on this-and I know a lot of you are going to hate it-and that phrase is "cheat device". I think a cheat device would help either xbox or ps3. If you look at the last console war, the difference between the graphics, game play and games available were negligible. The ONLY reason Sony won was because it was the ONLY console that you could use a cheat device on. And that opened up the games for a much wider audience for people who aren't hardcore gamers. I know hardcore gamers hate the idea of a cheat device, but there in the minority. They may be more vocal and virulent, but still the minority. If they don't like it, then don't buy it. It's only games, so chill. I didn't buy any game for my ps2 unless I knew I could use a cheat device on it. That also meant that I finished the game faster and would buy more games. By the time I bought my last ps2 game, I had well over 100 games for it. I just considered the cheat device as giving me more options to enjoy the game. So Mister Xbox or PS3, wanna pull ahead? Then let someone or you develop a cheat device for your console, or build them into the games themselves. Otherwise, you WILL lose to the Wii. Thanks for hearing me out...
the wii is the worst gaming system ever
go pokemonz
Nintendo just needs to keep doing what they're doing. Why? Because fanboys will always buy their crap and females will buy **** like Wii Fit and Wii Music. It pisses me off because I know MS and Sony are going to go down the same path as Nintendo next-gen and pretty soon, rather than getting games like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid, Left 4 Dead, Fable, Mass Effect, etc, we'll be getting stuff like Ryu's Meditation Classes or Samus' Cooking Club.
i personaly HATE the wii. the only good game is super smash and even that is starting to get annoying. the wii is soooooooo overrated. the wii has some of the WORST graphics out of the three. the only reason that it got the top seller of the year was b/c ppl said it was alot better than it really was. all of the games that they offer are for like children and the ones that arn'tSUCK!!!!! they need more games like assin's creed or left 4 dead or ressistance. also the controllers arnt the greatest. the sennsers are suckish. i really regret getting the wii system. they need better graphics, cooler games, and better controllers.
Here's the thing i hate about this (and why i went with 360 instead of just buying stuff for my family's wii). If the motionplus becomes a standard for new wii games, us current owners are either going to A) have to shell out another 20-30 dollars PER REMOTE just to have the functionality, or buy all new remotes completely to make it work. And just a heads up to all wii owners... i work at target, and i've been hearing alot of complaints there and from my friends that the older consoles (~2 years old) are starting to have disc drive failure issues. idk if this is common or isolated, but keep a heads up.
