Nintendo's back on top, but it'll need to follow these steps to remain console king.

A simple blueprint for success

There's no denying the numbers. Despite impressive holiday sales from Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo's Wii won 2008 sales and continues to outsell the competition. Now that 2008 is behind us, 2009 holds endless possibilities. If Nintendo wants to win again there are several things it must do. Here's our suggestions for how to make 2009 a smashing success.

The Wii is cool but you have to get a 360 if you want hardcore adult games... and you'd still want one even if those games did come out for the Wii.. why do you ask? because the graphics on the Wii suck

What Nintendo really needs to do is to get more support from 3rd party companies. It's really, really dumb to say that we need more Mario or that we need to return to the franchises because it's obvious Nintendo is going to do that. (Without a doubt they're going to do that because honestly, that's all they have at the moment) I'm not sure if I agree on more FPS. That's really more of the PS3 and 360 genre. However The Conduit is coming out in 09' so maybe that'll feed your needs.

idk bout' the shooter games, but whenever u see a Wii commercial , its kinda like a family thing. Nintendo is more of a company that makes games the whole family can play. Imagine this, mom, dad, a little kid, and a tween all laughthing and having fun while shooting virtual ppl. But they should get more multiplayer modes. The piont is, Nintendo is more o*****ame company that makes games for the whole family to play.

Nintendo has gotten it all wrong. They are going down a path that they are getting ready to not to beable to return. What is with all the casual crap?! CATER TO THE HARDCORE! Then worry about those soccer moms who play wii sports ith their kids sometimes. Wii needs more first person shooters. I was so hyped over the wii i got one as soon as i could. But Nintendo is not giving us that! They are screwing up. I am getting an xbox360 now. Unless nintendo gets their act together sorry. Iv been loyal for a looooong time. but now im done. HARDCORE MAN!!!! (thts where u guys get your money!)
