Who Ya Gonna Call?

The Ghostbusters have always taken us on a rollercoaster ride. The first Ghostbusters movie blew our minds, the second film -- we've been trying to forget that since '89. The same goes for the video games. The Real Ghostbusters in the arcade ate our quarters by the roll, but we would rather eat ectoplasm than play Ghostbusters for NES. With Atari's new Ghostbusters game due in stores on June 16, we took a look at how much the spirit-filled movie games have changed (for the better, we hope) in this week's Retro Rewind.

No mention whatsoever of the Atari 2600 Ghostbusters game? Somewhat of a carbon copy of the NES one, except slightly worse graphics and no weird staircase scene at the end. Instead, you had to sneak two Ghostbusters past the Marshmallow Man who was hopping back and forth... succeed and you see the two GBs crossing the streams.
