Tip #2: Make sure your General Manager is on the ball.
General Managers set the schedule and duration of the season, so it's in your best interest to find someone responsible. Your GM needs to understand what everyone wants and then delivers something that everyone can agree on. If you choose someone that doesn't know what they're doing, your entire season could suffer.
