It's Lancer versus Splicer, Locust versus Chimera and Marcus Fenix versus Nathan Hale in our GOW 2/Resistance 2 showdown.

Battle of the big bad shooters

This is the best week to own both an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, because Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 finally arrive this week. On the 360, Marcus Fenix and his fellow COG soldiers chainsaw the Locust Horde to bits, while on the PlayStation 3, Nathan Hale kicks Chimera butt in the good old United States of America. Both games pack in a list of sweet weapons, smart monsters and fun single player/multiplayer campaigns, but only one wins as the blood-spilling champ.

Gears 2 comes out Friday. You're good. :) Ooh...tough decision. I mean...if ur more into action then go with Gears. If you like some RPG sprinkled with your shooting and love long solo adventures, go with Fallout. :)

Ha. It always seems as if Microsoft is the Obama of the Gaming Industry and Sony always falls short and ends up being the McCain of the Gaming Industry. Of course I didn't need to read/see any of this to know that or to know who the winner would be in the end.

WHAT?! I just bought Fallout 3 like an hour ago. I didn't know Gears of War 2 was being released today. I didn't see it, but I wasn't looking for it afterall. I don't know which one I would have gotten if I knew this. I still have Fallout 3 in the plastic though so I can always make up my mind by tomorrow and return it for Gears of War 2 if I want. Probably not though.
