Battle of the big bad shooters
This is the best week to own both an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, because Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 finally arrive this week. On the 360, Marcus Fenix and his fellow COG soldiers chainsaw the Locust Horde to bits, while on the PlayStation 3, Nathan Hale kicks Chimera butt in the good old United States of America. Both games pack in a list of sweet weapons, smart monsters and fun single player/multiplayer campaigns, but only one wins as the blood-spilling champ.

PS3 Fanboys, please stop whining and throwing accusations around in a lame attempt to cover up the fact that "Gears of War" is and always has been better than Resistance. "Gears of War" is a system seller. "Resistance" isn't and the first one was kind of a disappointment. The characters aren't as good and the graphics aren't as good and the gameplay isn't as fluid and nothing beats the stop, take cover appeal of "Gears of War". Just look at the sales of both of these games. "Gears of War" wins that too. It's fact which one is better. Stop your whining, play some "Gears of War" and cry as you realize, you were wrong. :|
Please Chris Buffa, we know your a 360 fanboy given by your obvious 360 bias proven by your previous anti-PS3 articles. This "professional opinion" is no more than an attempt to justify your "rightful" purchase.
even though i am a MAJOR playstation fan, and i have never played gears of war, i am on gears of war. RESISTANCE SUCKS. AND I AM A PLAYSTATION FAN!!!!
I love both. It's more of a contest of "who can rip each other off more". Pretty much the same as the consoles themselves.

Isn't this article written by the same person who said "little big planet will probably suck" and "looks like a glorified version of powerpoint". Then gave it a 9/10! ha ha Forgive me if i shrug this comparison off into the rubbish bin.
Having just played Resistance all day, and bootleg Gears here is my opinion: Single-Player - GeoW Multiplayer - Resistance Heros - GeoW Weapons - Resistance Monsters - Resistance Sound - GeoW Special Edition - Resistance Sorry 360 fans, Resistance edges this one out. If you were smart, you would have both systems so you could play both games.
That was retarded. Hale "doesn't have emotions" even though he seems so real in the trailers we've seen and the threat of the Chimera seems so imenant and real, how could it not matter. Resistance 2 has the bast weapons by far. Heck, the Auger and Bullseye own Gears' weapons by themselves. Most of Gears grapchics are smoke and fog tricks, whereas most of Resistance 2 is solid I stopped reading at the multiplayer, there's literally no way Gears 2 has betrer multiplayer. Resistance 2 has the 8 player seperate co-op campaign as well as 60 player online competative. As an owner of both the PS3 and 360, and a planned purchaser of both Resistance 2 and Gears 2, I think this article is complete B$
Wow whoever wrote this has not played resistance2, but is a huge 360 fanboy, not giving even one win to the better resistance2. To me Gears of Bore sucks [im not a fanboy I have all 3 systems]
