Wii Sports 2 Jumps to Living Rooms

With the attach rate continuing to scrape the bottom, Nintendo will need to release a sequel to the first Wii Sports in order to stay on top of the mainstream consciousness. What sports can gamers expect? Will there be online connected competition? Who knows, the crystal ball says only so much, but it will make Mario Galaxy's sales look woeful.

Update (12/31/08): Partially Correct! Wii Sports Resort, the follow-up to the game that every Wii owner plays, was announced at E3 2008. The new game offers a jet ski game, a discus throwing game and a sword-fighting game. While the game won't arrive until Spring 2009, it will include the new Wii Motion Plus attachment that adds more accuracy to the Wii Remote.
