Game Series That Will Never (Ever) Die

Almost every Nintendo franchise

Nintendo will always recycle its mascots and churn out cookie cutter sequels. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Pokemon; you'll continue to gobble them up. Sure, games like Pikmin and WarioWare might disappear, but considering its knack for getting consumers to purchase the same video games every year, we doubt the large sums of money will convince Nintendo to focus solely on new intellectual properties.

I swear, this site's motto is "bash nintendo at every chance". You always say "oh, nintendo change game, they all the same as the last one", even though you go stark raving mad when the new one comes out. Embrace your inner geek and enjoy

CoD much? Should have been grouped with clancy as top-teir war games. i prefer teh CoD seires to most clancy, but clancy is more specialized for when you're in the mood. Halo is teh best game ever made. FTW. -J

yeah, but wheres tony hawk: pro skater 1-4, Underground 1 and 2, American Waste Land, Proving Grounds, Project 8 and i know im forgetting a couple

Who wants Tomb Raider to die? I just recently became a fan. And as for Sonic, although the recent games are nowhere near as good as the original Genesis platformers, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

Guitar Hero will prolly die, IMO. And I'm awaiting Bungie's next plot scheme for the next Halo game. Most Nintendo franchises are amazing and won't die off, but I have doubts on Star Fox now; after Command, I think it's kinda dying. Even though the Sonic games lately have sucked, I still have high hopes.

You know I will tell everyone right now I won't be surprised If they came out with a game where Mario, and Sonic have to team up to save the universe.

Hey aren't we also missing Warcraft on this list? I mean how many different Warcraft games are there?? Crash Bandicoot you know there's going to be another one of those coming out in the near future, and Need For Speed series as well.

I'm excited Final Fantasy was listed on here!! Although... I really hope once it does start going downhill (if it does) they'll put a stop to it before they start producing crappy games. Guitar Hero needs to calm down though.... And where IS Mega Man?!?
