Grandma's Boy
While not the most flattering movie about gamers, Grandma's Boy delivers plenty of laughs. In it, a 35-year-old game tester gets kicked out of his apartment for not making rent (all thanks to his roommate's addiction to Filipino prostitutes) and eventually moves in with his grandma. Over time, he creates a third person action game that gets stolen by JP, a supposed "genius" designer and without question one of the movie's funniest characters. Unlike most video game flicks, it's full of gross sexual humor. In other words, right up our alleys.
A favorite quote: "So maybe I don't know what the Civil War was, or who invented the helicopter even though I own one, but I did beat The Legend of Zelda before I could walk. I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it."

I agree, Mortal Kombat should've been included. I enjoyed all the movies on the list (that I've seen, anyway, haven't seen Grandma's Boy yet). As for Mario not being in the Mushroom Kingdom, Koopa DOES refer to it as such (mainly due to the fungus all over the place).
mario....wtf?!
i agree with u electrictibet, I mean everything about the movie even the over-all look of Christian bale is exactly similar to Mr.101, just look at his hair style...he looks exactly like 101 when viewed from behind!!
Plus, the street scene in Terminator Salvation is totally cribbed from Fallout 3's DC Super Mutant attacks.
where. is. Mortal. Kombat? It is by far the greatest video game movie.
"wow i think the worst movies there were street fighter and mario bros." I still feel that Street Fighter is a great comedy. And compared to "The Legend of Chun-Li", it's Oscar-worthy XD
Just keep your Power Gloves off her, pal - The Wizard
Who wants to go home and who wants to go with me - Street Fighter
