I don't think this is a fair test. In all examples the new version is winning by a landslide. I think this is mostly in part due to that you guys used the old CGI art Vs the new Anime style art. You should have at least used the older Anime style art vs the current. To be more fair, you should use SCII art Vs SCIV art, for in SCII the style changed drastically but hasn't changed much since, only the characters themselves have changed.
On a side note, it must be said that the breast sizes always changed depending on what art you had at hand. Even in SCone, the CGI, the anime, and the in game art all represented different sizes. The same is true for SCII and SCIII. SCIV did not have CG art for the complete cast, so we don't know. However, the actual in game representations changed very little, with of course the exception of Ivy, who got bigger in all examples of her art. But that's not all they did to Ivy. Over the years, she got shorter, and recently, younger and less intimidating in voice. Honestly, I think she scared many Japanese guys away, so they softened her up. On the other end, characters in game representations (which is really the true representation) have changed very little over the years, examples would be Sophitia, Mina, and Xianghua.
Taki however, did go through some changes. From Soul Edge/Blade to SCone she got SMALLER, not just in chest size, but everywhere including less muscle tone. In SCII and beyond she returned to her original size, but still lacked some tone (though it was always present in the CG art). Now with SCIV and the power of the current gen consoles, you can really see how ripped she really is. Seriously, Taki is among the most realistic looking women in fighters today.

Really we're talking about Soul Cal. Where the hell is the realisim In it? Lets give you three points. 1. Original characters Rule and adding in fan favorites is also nice But if your gonna do that. atleast have them for all consoles. No more with SC2 for example "Hihiachi for Ps2. Spawn Xbox. and Link Gamecube. that takes away from truely great matches. and more to the point so many people wanna take Darth Vader v.s. Yoda but cant wheres the realism in that? And for the Record to any gamer girl out there and Im sure theres quite afew more. Red Mage has a great book on picking up a girl. he just doesent have one that works,. Black Mage however does. never dispute a Hadoken
^^ROFL^^ Right on the spot, isdisbetterferu. Personally, I'd like them to get back to (debatable) normal sized breasts. And then we could focus on the gameplay. Maybe a little character embellishment, since you do have to have some, but no more of this fashion model thin, porn actress sized-breasts woman who fights jeet-kun-do better than brucie did himself. Maybe just a little bit more realism than that, say?
why must the boobs be so big. i like the old look so much more. ivy should never were the new outfit. the old on was so much hotter. let us fan boys imagine some of it.
i'm a girl, seung mi-na is my FAVORITE soul calibur character and i've never had a problem with her balloons. now taki... that's a whole nother story. lmao. they're HUGE! :P
So I'm not sure what girl gamers are complaining about. What's the big deal about the breast size of fictional characters? And it's not like the guys in this game aren't eye candy, too. So what's wrong? I mean, I'm sure I needn't tell you that those men (the ones that aren't freaks, at least) aren't an accurate sampling of what you'd find in the real world. This whole issue is really rather silly.
Yea, to tell the true, I honestly dont care about the girls clothes or **** or lack there of. When I was like 9-13 yrs old ( 9 for SC1 and 13 for SC2), but I'm 17 now. I have a g/f so i need digital boobs. Just the game, and thank you. I hate that it seems like all girl gamers think we guys droll over VG girls like this, its annoying -_-
oh my, the poor widdle bois playing the game are threatened by real, strong females. so the characters get dumbed down and skanked up.
