Personally, I love Soul Calibur and have played every version of it that was released, even preceding the name. However, with the new release, I am pretty sure I will never want to get another one. I won't suggest it as a must-have for my friends. I am a female gamer and am turned off. When will these designers realize that they are not just marketing sex to men(a rather easy task). I have to admit, men in their 20-30's make about 80-85% of the buying crowd. But, losing 15-20% of of your marketing audience is devastating to a company. Perhaps they should have made a pay-per-patch option for implants and skimpy attire... like Super-Stripper-Sophitia could be bought as a pay download content option, instead of a default see-through outfit. Also, before you mark me off as a prude or some other random gripe guys have when confronted with this subject... I adore Ivy. She is a completely hot wench with power and brutal dom force. But, they have what closely resembles a popped balloon covering her nuppage only. A dominatrix doesn't fully expose herself. She uses the desire of exposure and humiliation to dominate her sub. Opting for a PVC catsuit or leather corset and chap set would have probably still gotten the sexy factor across without ruining the dom concept. But, I digress, I am probably never getting SC again or any spin-off they try to market. My fandom sense is ruined, much like many others, I am sure.

You've gotta love how they added Tira as one of the classics of the females in the game... but they completely left out both Setsuna AND Talim. Is Talim even in the third game, or did they completely wipe her out? DX That'd suck: She was one of my favorites, up there with Sieg (... I'm a girl. D< Of course I love pretty pretty Siegfried. D< Ever since SC2, really... when he was still ***htmare.. ... and still shirtless... X3 Okay, I'm getting out of hand. XD ) The boobs bother me only because they're getting insanely big, and they were already pretty massive before. At this point, it's like "How can they even fight if their boobs are goign to take over their face?" But someone proved a good point: It IS just a game... even so, does a game always have to go overboard on the sexual aspects when it comes to it's characters? Sieg was shirtless in the alternative clothing SC2, but you bet your ass they reclothed him completely for SC3. >.

Here's my problem, and yes I am a girl gamer here. I want to cosplay them!! Having over sized breasts make it difficult. But oh well I will find a way I'm sure.

I kinda have a love/hate relationship with the female characters oversized mammaries. As a guy, I obviously can't help but love them, but if I wanted to be turned on, I'd watch pr0n or hentai(whatever floats your boat). This is a fighting game I'd like to take seriously, and it's hard to do that when you're constantly getting distracted by Ivy's or Taki's melons flying all over the ****ing screen when you're trying to stab them. >_

anthrosnake, your point on console exclusives is pretty much moot. Vader is coming to 360 and Yoda is coming to PS3. It is simply a matter of time before Namco makes the download available. The question is... will it cost us anything...

Really, the size of the female's character's breasts don't bother me. Sure, it is a little out of hand, but still, its a freakin video game! Plus, what's hotter than a center-fold-like character beating the hell out of some guy charater?
