And the winner is... Erin Ali!
Erin Ali, come on down!
Congratulations to Erin Ali for her winning entry. If this is you, email gamedailycontests@gmail.com from the email address you entered with, and we'll make sure this kick-ass Dead Space helmet gets to you ASAP!
The winning entry:
She stunned us with her effort! Not only did she write us a hilarious seven-day plan for the helmet, she mocked up a visual aid! And this is no PowerPoint either. Check out the entry and image below!
My Plan: "The Seven Days of Dead Space."
So bears the question, "just what do you plan to do while wearing the helmet?"
I present to you Game Daily editors my plan to hold "the Seven Days of Dead Space." Everyday I'll do something different bearing use of Mr. Clarke's helmet. A digital camera will be involved everyday. Once the images have been checked for Britney style "oops" images, I'll send Game Daily word of my day with images included.
So what does the fun-filled week include? I know you're all wondering.
Sunday: A day of sports... or games close enough to be called that.
Bowling? Batting Cages? MINIATURE GOLF!? What would be best?!?!?!
Monday: Typical typical work.
I've been caught at work sporting a fake mustache before. What's a little steampunk love?
Tuesday: Waiting for the Bus.
I have a car, why need the bus? Cause it'd make for a great picture. :)
Wednesday: I'm Thinkin Arby's
Or Wendy's or Sonic. Either way, I'm getting me some fast food with that helmet on!
Thursday: Console Gaming
Wii Tennis is so a go. And even freaking out during Dead Space!
Friday: Let's go get some drinks!
Time to get some drinks! I'm 21 and let's see if I get carded ;).
Saturday: Blind Date Time!
Oh that's right. I'm going to embarrass some poor sap.
So that's the plan that I have for my first week with the helmet. And the 14 some odd other ideas I had that I had to scrap since I dedicated 7 to this idea are still going to happen. And maybe, just maybe I'll document those too!

Well I hope I didnt come across to sore... of course I wanted to win, but still am happy for her at the same time.. I got mixed feelins lol. But hey Erin if youre reading this... let me have your game and you can keep the helmet... cool? =) lol
OK -- FYI -- Erin claimed her prize and the helmet is en route to her! Also -- please don't be sore losers (so lame!) -- we'll def. have some other awesome contests coming soon. - Libe
Well, I certainly wont try to be sore about it like some people most obviously are... But I have to say my written entry was surely more comical and enjoyable... As for the pictures... I could have googled those and have pasted that helmet on too.. Its nothing but flipping the helmet pic and resizing it. Anyhow... congrats whether I like it or not you beat me. Unfortunately I feel that the imagery should have played no part in her win. Being that the contest rules did not mention anything of it or even encourage us to go beyond what we were told to do.. that whole posterboard should have been garbage canned. If original photos were used id bump that rating up to D minus.
She deserved to win, especially from the point of effort put into winning the contest. I hope gamedaily keeps doing contests where winning is based on effort and not just random chance. Oh, and for those of you playing the game, I just lost it.
Thanks everyone for entering. If Erin doesn't claim her prize then we will choose another winner later this week. Also -- we have another exciting Big F'n Giveaway this week! Stay tuned. -- Libe
GameDaily wins, then they do crappy articles for aol (definitely the worst video game website)
What if she doesn't claim it?? Then who wins??
O well she'll probably sell it on ebay. I always knew GameDaily sucks, can't even give the prize to a hardcore gamer.
Sorry for the late posting - the winner has been announced!
This is my homepage, too. Mollie, give up. Don't turn off your computer, but just give up.
