Its great for old people! It occupies them for hours so they don't manage to escape out of the house and end up half undressed in the middle of wal-mart for serveral hours trying to climb into a drying machine. LMAO

HI CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE TO START WITH THE PURCHASE OF WII. WHERE TO BUY AND WHAT TO BUT THANKS
We purchased a Wii after using one at our son's house. It's great!!!! We bought one for our daughter's family for Christmas. It's great fun, everyone is laughing and enjoying themselves. We started a Wii bowling and golf league in our neighborhood. It's a riot!!!!
ohlawdchicken on 11/13/2008 12:00 am wii is cheap because it sucks and it forces you to play wii sports ever since it was released 2 years ago ****************************************** maybe your just a loser at games. We love our Wii and it's internet access.
chatcat121 -- The Wii would be great for your seniors. Get the Wii and the Wii Fit balance board. We got this system for my 70 year old Mom and she's back up doing fun things (she loves virtual tennis and virtual boxing!) and she's lost 10 of the 22 pounds she needs to lose. She used to sit around and do crosswords. Now she's up challenging us to Wii tennis matches. Personnally I love the balance games, and the Yoga on the Wii fit

The Wii needs some love. I own all three console systems and a PSP and a DS. Admittedly, achievement hunting makes me lean toward my XBox 360, but the Nintendo development team has one of the best game studios, and I buy many Wii exclusive titles for the system. Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl will stand tall against any developer's titles. BioWare, Infinity Ward, and Bethesda all make great games that I play on my other consoles, but Nintendo has more great titles than any other studio. Many third party developers have missed the mark on many games for the Wii, and that is sad. Hopefully that will change in the upcoming year of releases. Resident Evil 4 and Tiger Woods 09 have much better gameplay on the Wii than any other system, so I am sure that someone can get it right. Competing against 2 consoles that churn out games in 1080p while offering a maximum of 480p is a disadvantage, so I hope that the gameplay stays tight for at least 4 or 5 titles a year.
