Oh my God. I'll admit to rolling my eyes at some of the things on the list, but I see no need to make a federal case out of something like this.These probably ARE the kinds of games that CASUAL female gamers would go after.We all know there are girls who play every gore-tastic shooter they can get their hands on with vigor to rival any guy, blah blah. What's wrong with sparkles AND gore??

I imagine Sony puts dudes on the covers of SingStar games because they are probably trying to lure in more female gamers. Female gamers are a rare commodity and if a software or especially a hardware company can increase the numbers of female gamers then they'll corner the market. Nintendo Wii is doing pretty well with the female market with the Wii-Fit, but most of us guys prefer PS3s and XBox 360s over the Wii.

The artivle is written for humurous reasons. THere's worse things online concerning woman than "Oh girls look hot playing games" like come on, Get over urselves. There's guys are stupid stuff all over the site, why is it that everyone must be so.... small-minded. Woman and others want to be taken seriously but for the most part they act ignorant and extra sensitive. Stop worrying about it, go away, take a breather. Smh

I think it's really funny how everybody's taking such offense to this. I'm a chick gamer too, big bloody deal he's being sexist. We don't care how many games you say that you play... everybody (with a brain) knows that girls can be gamers too. How many pictures of hot girls playing any real kind of game do you think he's going to find? They advertise "lame" games with girls on the cover. So maybe we should be blaming the advertisers for being sexist, not the guy who wrote this article.

I'm a female and I don't care, because unlike most of you stupid whiny feminist little girls, I know how to GET OVER IT. And shut up with the "omg girls don't just play wii! sexist! WAAAA!". It's the truth that most "girl gamers" play the wiitard. I'm not saying all of them do, I'm an fps junkie myself, but there are FAR more men than women who play games other than the wii.
