Raiders of the Lost Ark (Atari/Atari 2600)

Based on the original Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark lets you control a poorly detailed Indy (he looks more like a traveling salesman than an adventurer) through a number of stages as he seeks out the Ark of the Covenant. You whip snakes, confusingly collect items (half of which you have no idea how to use) and die – a lot. The gameplay also requires the use of two bulky Atari 2600 controllers at once. Do yourself a favor and simply forget it exists.
