XBLA actually sells full games that are classics, just like Steam. Good examples would be XBOX Originals that include, but are not limited to Halo, Crimson Skies, and Stubbs the Zombie. Also, MS is anticipating full game downloads in the near future.
also, XBLA and steam shouldn't be grouped together. XBLA is for distribution of small, arcade type games, where steam is digital distribution for all games, retail included, so if you really look at it, XBLA and steam are nothing alike. same concept, but 2 completely different markets.
wow guys the N64 controller was a POS, just admit it fanboys. the dual-shock controller is mentioned because of the 2 sticks and rumble support, all part of the controller, not some $20+ pack that you had to attach to the controller.
Sony did perfect the N64's popular joystick, but the Dual Shock didn't hit until late 1997, not 1995.
pretty good, but a few complaints: a) Joysticks were the original gaming format. Analog Sticks were the return of that, and done by NINTENDO. Not Sony. b) Who gives a **** about CIty of Heroes? I know I don't. c) I think you speak of The Silent Cartographer, because you weren't good enough to make it to the library. The followups better be better.
\you're missing the point guy, there were analog sticks before the PlayStation, but they weren't as well made, PlayStation controller, best one ever ;]]
GameDaily, love the effort, but you fail miserably in trying to cater to the hardcore gaming fanbase. But keep doing what you're doing, as I'd be as happy as you guys are to hold a job that pays well that I'm nowhere near qualified for.
Dude. N64 had the analog stick b4 the PSX. It wasn't until N64 came around that Sony added the two sticks function.
hugiohx you are wrong, the first controler to use an analog stick was the atari 5200....
Well first off ... if you we're a real gamer you'd know that nintendo created the first "analog" for the NES ..... sony just added the joystick effect and another one
