Even the flashiest, most over hyped games get kicked to the curb.

It was a very good year. Sort of.

Like most years, 2008 was chock full of blockbuster video games that eventually grew boring and collected dust. As much we wanted to love the following games, we couldn't play them for more than a couple of weeks.

Wow, this doesn't even make sense, almost all these games are amazing, and this is coming from a relatively cynical gamer. Author was too eager to criticize whatever he could.

I have to admit that I get a sick kick out of reading these comments. People get too angry too easily, and it just shows how intolerant they are of other people's opinions. Don't get me wrong; I do not agree with most of what this guy says. Still, I won't throw a ****-fit like the majority of these people are doing, because I'm not angry like these people are. Keep it coming, guys. I'm going to count the number of times I see the word "retard" in the next few pages.

I usually never leave comments, but I could not let this poorly written, idiotic article stand without criticzing it. Whoever wrote it should be fired. He doesn't know anything about games. He should not be let near microsoft word for the rest of his life so that his opinions will never be known. I cant believe he gets paid for this garbage.

This is BS. Resistance Two, Little Big planet, and Star wars teh force unleased are all really awsome games and all three made it to game of the year titles. Who ever made this list should go to hell and revise there thinking, i mean come on, compareing those three games to a old mega man game??? resistance two had an awsome stroy line that gave it more to work off of. Star wars gave a new entry to the saga and had awsome game play and graphics, And little big planet, it got rated best of the year games three times. Please go look at other games that are far worse then these becuase these games are top of teh year quilty. Also stop picking on the PS3 becasue its still way bette rthen the baby toy Wii. TheOnly reson people have the Wii is becuase of its cheapness and excrise crap. Go run on a tread mill or jog in a park, becuase to be honest, the Wii dose nothing and is a scam. Xbox is umber one closely followed by the PS3, and then in the way back is the Wii. So go put that dumb wii music up there in the list becuase it was horrible. Learn to be bias and not go off of what other people think.
