It was a very good year. Sort of.
Like most years, 2008 was chock full of blockbuster video games that eventually grew boring and collected dust. As much we wanted to love the following games, we couldn't play them for more than a couple of weeks.

Hmmm The only games ive played on this list were Mirrors Edge and Far cry 2. And for 1. far Cry 2 sucked he had it right to the tea the only good part on far cry 2 is *shock* the map editor. and mirrors edge was actualy pretty cool

This is the most BULL**** ARTICLE OUT OF ALL ARTICLES!!! This dummy must be a 360 fanboy because I haven't seen ONE 360 Exclusive game in here, and to tell you, Gears 2 was boring and wasn't all that great like what people said to me, and my friend (who has a 360) had sold it back because it wasn't that fun and it felt like the 1st one to him. Also, Little Big Planet is a great game, this guy was prob. to LAZY to make anything!
Listen, this guy clearly needed to stir something up, must not be delivering enough hits to his site. GTA and Resistence are 2 of the best games of this generation - period. This is clearly a shock value, reverse psychology ploy to attract some attention. It caught my eye. That or this writers a moron. Either way, it's best to ignore the ignorant, that's why its right in the title. DON'T POST IF U THINK IT'S BULL****, YOU'RE ONLY HELPING SPREAD IGNORANCE. If no one posts, it makes him look as dumb as he is.

the resistance article is a bunch of ****.... resistance 2 is one of the most played games this year, even though resistance wasnt so great, resistance 2 kicked ass and brought the name back... the single player campaign mode is awesome and the online is even better. who ever posted this article must have been adicted to the piece of **** 360 and never played the PS3 and all of its xbox destroying games
...your saying a game isn't good partly because you didn't think the main character was attractive?...I think at this point all of you should just give up "reviewing" games, suck my ****, and then find a very tall building to throw all of your games and yourself off of oh and btw dying is actually part o*****ame I know its shocking how dare someone make a game that is actually challenging -_-

Haha this Chris Buffa guy must be just starved for attention. Even more so than normal. I mean this article is so painstakingly awful, it MUST have been on purpose, just to gain attention. I guess negative or positive attention don't really matter to this dip of a "writer."
