The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the winners of its British Academy Video Games Awards, revealing yet another bright moment for Nintendo. Wii Sports took home a total of six awards out of thirteen categories. The Wii pack-in title won for Gameplay, Casual, Innovation, Multiplayer, Sports, and Strategy & Simulation.

Xbox 360's Crackdown from Realtime Worlds also fared well, earning two awards, as did Capcom's Okami and Sony's God of War 2. The coveted Best Game award, however, went to the critical and commercial hit BioShock from 2K Boston (formerly Irrational Games).
