A message to everyone who says, volient games don't affect kids. It depends on the age group, If you're refering to 5-9 year-olds, you are probably wrong. If a 6 year-old kid plays a game where you kill other humans, he will probably think "it's fun in a game, must be fun in life" and even go out and do it. What I'm saying may seem stupid, but it probably happens every week in the USA, somewhere. In my opinion, if your old enough to reason with someone, say in a kid's case, reasoning for a higher allowance, then your old enough to look at voilent games in a reasponsible manner. However, it's not the voilence that's a bad influence it's the sex, the language, and the criminal element. If you're killing as an Allies soldier in WW2, it would have a different effect than if you'rekilling as a gangster in the streets of big USA cities. If you're a police officer trying to rid crime, it's much better than being a maniac killer who has no reason, or their only reason is to kill or they're crazy. I'm a gamer, and a Libertarian supporter, banning video games is unconstitutional. I think that there should be more specific labels, most parents won't read why it's rated M, T, E+10, E, or even Ao(a rating almost no store carries). So if they added a V to the end of it for violence, or say a S for sexual themes, or an A for adult themes, parents would think twice about the games they get their kids. Also, it would be more affective with anything, not just games, but music, movie, and TV ratings too, if the ratings/ parental advisory labels were larger people would notice them better. The problem is, America is filled with perverts, and morally filthy people, who don't care about anything but the parts on a woman, and anything related to sex. This is shown by the amount of sex-related things we see on the internet, and the amount of prostitutes there are in the USA. Anybody that wants to argue with me, don't waste your time unless you can give a decent arguement, instead of a bunch of idiotic ramblings, like "you're dumb" why am i dumb, tell me, and give me good reasons.

Every genoration has had its problems. For us (yes I'm 15) it's video games, sometimes it's music, some times it's Movies. It gets really old how everyone blames something for all the screw-ups in there society, has it ever once occurd to you that mabey, jus MABEY, it's the parents? Games don't make killers, just like how movies or television or music don't either. And besides, we are a naturally violent society, we where violent before video games, movies, and "bad" television, and we will be after. Personally, I much rather take my aggression out listening to music, or beating someone in video games then in real life. For some people video games don't create aggresion twards PEOPLE (i know almost every gamer has been playing a game and gotten mad at IT because you lose alot :P) it actually helps it.
People should stop worrying about peoples' choices on what to play or watch. They should be worry more about minding their own business like bush with our own country. We all have the ability to make our own decisions and we do not need to be cattled in a way where we have no clue on what we are doing. And to be honest, i'm a parent and I really don't care what my kids play as long as they do their homework, not in trouble and know the value of respect. Remember how you were when you guys were young, restrictions will only lead to more temptations.
This game is violent for children but it is no stranger to violent video games, one game that was similar to this is when you actually had a choice to let a prisoner live or die, he would die by you strangling him. this game was black thorne and over 10 years old. This one is very similar to black thorne but just has more detailed graphics. I don't think this can influence kids to turn into bad people. they know the difference. from the pics it actually looks like a fun game.

This country is so Fing hypocritical.....We are SUPPOSED to have freedom of speech which includes freedom of expression. The video game companies have the right to release any game they want, it is there RIGHT, no one should be able to take away this right. The games have ratings for a reason, if you do not want your kids playing them, enforce the rule, if not STFU. Do not ruin any fun the rest of us will have by pretending we are slicing open the jugular of our most hated co-worker or boss! Censorship in the US is utter BS. No one is forcing anyone to listen, watch, or play anything. Parents need to start taking responsibility for what their children do. Stop trying to ban things just because you don't like them! A-HOLES!
i love this complete ignorance...honestly, video games teaching people to murder other people??? please, find something else to blame murder on, you know something that might make a little more sense
its not the parents or the games or the kids its you guys
One of the opening questions asked if the images offended me... None of the images presented "offended" me. It is a game, possibly a controversial game but a game just the same. Every member of our society has the option to buy and play it or not, it is a question of personal interest. Some posts have stressed that the game is not intended for children and I tend to agree. A small child that cannot differentiate between fantasy and reality should not have access to such games. But, a person that can differentiate between the two and understands that this is not a real situation should be able to play it all they wish. Other posts have stated that too much emphasis is placed on indoor gaming and outdoor activities are limited or non-existent. I am a mother of a teenager and it is my job to make sure that activities such as these are balanced and do not take up too much time. As a parent...it is my job to make sure that outdoor activities and exercise are routine thereby preventing a sedentary lifestyle. As far as this game goes, I would allow my teenager to play it because he knows that it is what it is... a game.
The age old issue. Games don't make people violent. I have played games since I was five and I'm now twenty-five. I've played Grand Theft Auto and Mortal Kombat and yet I haven't tried to kill or steal anything ever. I didn't do those things because I had parents that told me the difference between fantasy and reality. It is that simple. Instead of parents just blindly blaming whatever is the cool thing at the time to blame, they should actually talk to the children they have and let them know that games are just that, games. Also, like it has been written on here recently there are ratings on the game. Mature games blatantly state on the front and back that no one under seventeen should play this game. It's just like the movie ratings and you can't miss it. Basically it all goes back to the parents knowing what the children they have are doing, playing and watching. It's called being an involved parent and it really isn't that hard.
look im a parent i realy think you shouldnt make this game unless you want America to turn into a violent place where even you could getkilled
