Hot on the heels of Family Party: 30 Great Games, D3Publisher is releasing more assets for its upcoming game, Family Party: 30 Great Games Outdoor Fun for the Wii. Just like 30 Great Games, Outdoor Fun will offer mini-games for multiplayer, family-friendly fun that will offer something from everyone, from unicycle racing, karate chopping, obstacle courses, balancing, navigating mazes, memory games, and much more. Four family members of friends can play each other in either challenge or battle mode. Family Party also offers customizable avatars and gold medals for the big winners. While Outdoor Fun doesn't look like the most high-tech offering on the market, it does offer an interesting combination of mini-games that cover sports, puzzles, and athletic training.

The game, whose rating is currently pending, will be on sale for $19.99 later this fall. Although there are a ton of family-friendly games on the Wii, this is at a particularly low price point. With upcoming games like Wii Sports Resort coming in at $46.99 (plus accessories) and the new Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs priced at almost $40, Family Party: 30 Great Games Outdoor Fun could be a fun, cheap alternative to what's on the market -- especially for multiplayer mini-games. Other more popular multiplayer titles like Mario Party 8 will set you back $46.99, and Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party has a bit of a less family-friendly vibe and also costs $37.99. (Note: all prices based on Amazon.com listings.)

So take a look at the gallery and the trailer, and let us know what you think. Are you going to give Outdoor Fun a whirl, or stick with Mario?
