Florida isn't exactly known as a bastion of video game development. With the exception of Electronic Arts in Orlando, which employs over 700 people, Florida doesn't have much in the way of big developers. Orlando-based n-Space, which employs 50 people is a distant second to EA in Orlando, but the company is now looking to expand in preparation for the next generation of video games.

According to a report in the Orlando Sentinel n-Space President Erick Dyke expects to increase its workforce to about 70 people by the summer. n-Space, known most recently for the GameCube exclusive Geist, is currently seeking to add 20 talented workers to help out with art, production and design. Furthermore, the company has announced plans to increase the size of its facilities. n-Space will soon double its physical space by adding another 7,000 square feet in the Westwood Plaza near SeaWorld.

It also would seem that little "n" is once again teaming up with big "N," as the developer has plans to make games for Nintendo's Revolution console, which is slated to launch by Thanksgiving this year. Unfortunately no official announcements or details have surfaced on the developer's Revolution projects as of yet.

Aside from Geist, n-Space has previously worked on games in the Duke Nukem and Mark-Kate & Ashley series.

With more and more developers getting ready to make next-gen games, teams will undoubtedly have to expand, so it could be a good time for people looking for a job making games.
