A gruesome fight between an English couple over (in part) late-night gaming sessions implicated media's favorite crime scapegoat,Grand Theft Auto, in yet another homicide when the husband stabbed the wife to death. But here's the twist: the late-night gamer was the wife. According to the prosecution, Carol Cannom "became hooked" on the PlayStation game, to the point where she kicked her husband out of their bedroom and replaced him with a 37-inch plasma TV screen to accommodate her gaming.
While the husband has confessed to the murder, we can't help but feel for the couple's 10 year-old son for whom the PlayStation was originally purchased.

im glad ol Jack Thompson is outta the picture.
Wow that's amazing. It had nothing to do with the game just his insecurity with being replaced by an inanimate object. Anyway I would love to be with a woman who took gaming that seriously. Honestly he didn't know what he had...
People will come up with the darndest excuses to off their spouse..
the husband was just jealous of the game. he can cry about how the gaming system (and maybe even the game) was for their son all he wants. THE TRUTH is that he was mad and jealous that her attention was elsewhere. thing is, he's just as wrong for killing her as she was for ignoring him. if you're upset that your loved one's attention is being monopolized by something, DON'T KILL THEM! get therapy. leave them. destroy the gaming system (i heard a story about a dad who nailed his kid's console to a tree!). BUT DO NOT KILL THEM!
You all think your so smart. You all suck. Just shut up! BLAH BLAH BLAH
This story left out the part that she got the money for the TV by actually doing jobs for Demitri and leaving her husband out of the cut.
So he felt she was getting violent over the game she played that didn't cause her to kill anyone that he did, meaning the ones who protest against the game are the actual violent ones? I thought so. The kid should be proud of her mother for playing the game, because she played it to prevent her from killing him in the first place. Not a twist, never will be a twist, you s***.
People who play videogames don't kill people. Friends of people who play videogames way to much kill people.
violence by osmosis? stop the presses! i'm calling fox news right now.
GTA is so violent it makes non-gamers murder people!! OH NOEZ!!!
