Week 8, Sack Attack!
It sounds wrong but it's so right - Sackboy has taken over our lives and we love it. Will DIY gaming (that comes with adorable floppy ragdoll characters) be the next big thing? Will the Nintendo DSi change the handheld wars? And should readers be wary of OMGWTFBBQ World Exclusive Breaking News from publications? Former EGM editor-in-chief Dan "Shoe" Hsu joins us for this week's HUD. As always, send us your questions - we want to tell you what you want to know.
- Robin Yang, who approves of this message.

(1) What are you playing this week?

Nothing on Xbox 360, I'll tell you that much. My Xbox Live account just got hacked, so I don't have access to my GamerTag right now. If I can find some time in between password changing, account recovering, making new Windows Live IDs, cancelling and getting a new credit card, screaming, etc. etc., I will be playing Lock's Quest (DS) and working on making the most carnivorous Spore creature ever seen. And I'll be doing lots of Word Challenge on Facebook, too. If I can get my girlfriend to stop playing LittleBigPlanet for two minutes, I'd like to go back to PixelJunk Monsters and Super Stardust HD as well.

I am not playing much this week, since I'm traveling all around. I did bring my DS with me for the flights, so I've been going at some of the modes in Kirby Super Star Ultra.

NBA Live: thought I wanted to play Dynasty Mode, then realized that I don't have the patience. BioShock PS3: strongly considering replaying it--this time as a Rescuer rather than a Harvester. LittleBigPlanet: enjoying Play, but my inner perfectionist is daunted by the challenge of succeeding at Create and Share.

Pet Society (again!) on Facebook. This week was crazy busy, but over the weekend have Tomb Raider Underworld, Little Big Planet and Lego Batman on my must-play list.

More Castle Crashers. I love that game. My Blue Knight is now over Level 20. I finished Braid as well, which was an amazing game and I'm sad that I did finish it. And I can't forget Rock Band. Downloaded the Duran Duran songs and I've been rocking the vocals lately.

It's been an absolute insane week for me, so what little gaming I've done has been in Tiger Woods 09 on the Xbox 360. Simultaneous online mode is a god send.

The LittleBigPlanet Beta, the LittleBigPlanet Beta, and more of the LittleBigPlanet Beta.

Spent some time with LEGO Batman. If you have ever played any LEGO game, then you know what to expect. TONS of characters, unlockables, etc. My only gripe is there is no online multiplayer. I don't know why they offered online multiplayer in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but not in LEGO Batman.

I've been playing Sonic Chronicles on my DS for a while. It's good, but I think Mario may still have Sonic beat on mascot RPGs. Mario RPGs still feel action-y enough to feel like Mario games. Sonic Chronicles feels like an RPG starring Sonic. Not bad at all, but not quite the same thing.

With Nintendo's Media Summit this week, I had a chance to go hands-on with a bunch of Wii and DS titles. Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure, a platform/puzzle game for the Nintendo DS, was a particular stand-out. I can't say much in the way of impressions, but any game that mixes Panel De Pon with a robot is pretty much a winner.

LittleBigPlanet has been taking up most of my time. A few sporadic sessions of PURE and Too Human have taken me away from the LBP Beta but I'm really enjoying Sackboy and his many user-generated adventures.
