(2) We're all excited about the Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: WT song lists, but there's gotta be at least ONE song you're dying to play that thus far hasn't been released. What is it?
Is it too much to ask for a steady stream of Electric Light Orchestra? Oh, and Bruce Springsteen? And maybe "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats ... some Nick Cave would be great fun ... and The Flaming Lips...
I guess, what I'm trying to say is there's no shortage of great rock mustic waiting to find a home in my Rock Band library. With Rock Band 2's incredible integration of my Rock Band 1 songs, my Rock Band DLC, and the Rock Band 2 songs (and there's 20 more DLC tracks for free?) I've chosen my side in the Rhythm Music Wars of ought-eight – I simply don't trust Guitar Hero to be as protective of my investment.
"Highway to Hell," AC/DC.
I'm a huge Stevie Wonder fan and would love for a song pack with "My Cherie Amour," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" and "Higher Ground." Failing that, can we get some Bjork? Specifically, "Hyperballad," "Bachelorette," and "Human Behaviour, " pretty please? I've sung "Beat It" and am not afraid of high notes. [Ed.'s note: Libe says she's heard you and you should be afraid.]
I am an ornery, old man when it comes to music. I probably like about 1% of music that is readily available. I still buy music games because I like playing the songs, but almost all of them aren't my cup of tea. If I could have one choice, I would pick "Sweet Freedom" by Michael McDonald. Trust me, it's the most amazing song you'll ever hear...for all the wrong reasons.
Do you think I'll get fired if I admit that I don't play Guitar Hero or Rock Band all that much? My Multiplayer colleagues do.
There is so much I'd love to see in Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: WT. I can't really narrow it down to one, so to be awkward you can have a few. Take note Harmonix and Neversoft. I want: Muse - "Plug in Baby", Bloc Party - "Luno", Rage Against The Machine - "Wake Up", Radiohead - "Paranoid Android", Blur - "Song 2" and Franz Ferdinand - "This Fire." Make it happen please!
The list of artists alone is a mile-long for me. HARD-FI, Tokyo Police Club, Audioslave and Kaiser Chiefs are all missing pieces of the puzzle for me on both "platforms." As for a song that needs to be added in the future? How about the entire Appetite for Destruction album! Classic GN'R? Yes, please.
The all-star performance of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" from the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. Tom Petty. Jeff Lynne. Dhani Harrison. And Prince bringing it home with one of the most insane guitar solos ever.
Forget one song, I want Radiohead's "OK Computer" in its entirety as soon as possible. I don't care who does it -- although my money would be on Harmonix to get it done first -- but I will buy it, and I will play it until my fingers and ears bleed. If you don't know what I'm talking about, listen to the album and don't just pay attention to the songs, but pay special attention to their individual parts. It would translate perfectly to either of these games.
I'm a huge MUSE fan, and there simply hasn't been enough MUSE in any of the games. I'd love to see Plug in Baby off their Origin of Symmetry album. In, fact, I just fired up the song - yeah, this rocks.
I am a pretty hardcore The Beatles fan. Whoever is able to get Beatles songs will 100% win me over (I'm rooting for Rock Band to get those rights since I prefer it over Guitar Hero)

@ darkfist09 thanks for the comment! you know what, when someone comes up with 10-way synchronous skype recording and manages to schedule these ten --very-- busy people to log on at the same time once a week, we'll do a podcast ;)
Oddly enough, I really enjoyed reading this; it drew me in and I felt the need to read it through to the end, unlike so many other things. I guess I'm just interested in what each individual has to say. If these guys were to do a podcast, I would most definitely tune in.
