GameDaily & You Can Help a Children's Hospital for the Holidays!

We partner up with gamerDNA and Child's Play to bring holiday cheer to sick children around the world. Find out how you can help!

by GameDaily Staff on Tuesday, December 02, 2008

We gamers get a lot of flak during the year for shooting zombies, chainsawing aliens, and causing a lot of strife, but during the holidays, we like to show that we care. That's why this year, GameDaily and our friends at gamerDNA are teaming up to raise money for sick children through Child's Play.

How can I help?

Just go to GameDaily's Charity Page on gamerDNA, and take the simple Decades of Influence Quiz. Once you get your virtual badge (like the one below), start posting it! Forums, message boards, MySpace, Flickr, your blogs... if our GameDaily community has the most views on its badges, gamerDNA will donate Nintendo DSs and games to a children's hospital of our choice. How sweet is that?

Can I just donate money?

Of course! If you go to the bottom of our charity page, you'll see a widget that will allow you to securely donate any sum of money to Child's Play, a charity founded by the guys at Penny Arcade. They specialize in bringing video games to children's hospitals all over the world.

So what am I waiting for?

We don't know! Go forth and share the gaming love!
