A new job listing on Blizzard Entertainment's website reveals that the World of Warcraft developer may be seriously considering creating games for all three next-generation consoles.

While rumors of work on a console version of World of Warcraft remain just that, the job post mentions that Blizzard is looking for an experienced Senior Producer "with a proven track record of producing high quality console games." In addition, under "Plusses" Blizzard mentions that it would be better for the candidate to have "Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii production experience."

The candidate is also to have "strong passion for both playing and developing console games," and "experience with establishing and monitoring efficient development processes," which is highly important to any video game project but is even more crucial in today's video game market where the cost of development is growing ever higher.

It was previously thought that the oft-delayed StarCraft: Ghost had been shifted to next-gen console development, although the future of that game is currently unclear. Judging by this job listing, it does seem, however, that the next-gen consoles will play a bigger part in Blizzard's future.

GameDaily BIZ as of press time is awaiting word from Blizzard. We'll be sure to update the story when we hear more.
