Realistic fatigue
Instead of checking a guy's fatigue "percentage", you'll spot his energy on the field. Players grow tired and slow down after a huge gain. Offensive linemen will put their hands on their hips after a hard day's work. Even the weather affects them, with teams in cold locations suffering from the oppressive heat. Call a time out to give your guys a rest.

Enhanced animation
Players can change momentum at any time, avoiding the out of bounds line and hungry defensemen. A running back can spin, stiff-arm and reach for the first yard and everything happens in one smooth animation. Not only does this open up the on field action, giving you the opportunity to create miraculous plays, but you'll also have no one else to blame for doing stupid crap but yourself.

Owner Mode
Make Robert Kraft and Jerry Jones look incompetent in Madden's Owner Mode, which gives you the opportunity to preside over a team and hog the spotlight. The only thing is that it won't let you grab the Super Bowl trophy from the coach's sweaty paws. You know, the coach you intend to fire next year.
